Project 3 video presentations due today
Class time today was dedicated to presenting out project 3 videos to the class for review.
The title of my short film is a sequence of unfortunate events. It's about a school student who misses his bus because his morning didn't go to plan, but missing the bus was a good thing as it has a fatal accident. However it's also implied that his girlfriend was on that bus which obviously emotionally hits him hard.
After the video finished it took a few seconds for people to process what they had just watched but overall it was good positive feedback.
Example people liked how I implied an accident without showing it.
Reflection:
What have I learned this week? This could be related to soft skills or hard skills.
We watched everyone's project 3 videos.
What feedback have I received this week? How am I going to address it?
The feedback from presenting the video in class was very positive. The video and music worked well together to convey the emotion. The use of sound to tell the story rather then show it for instance you didn’t see the bus crash but its implied thought sound and visual cues.
What challenges did I encounter? How did I/how am I going to address them?
I'm not musically talented and I don't know how to play any instruments so in creating music for the video I had to get help from a friend who knows how.
