Data
At the end of the Tri we will get a Holistic grade ranging from high distinction to a pass. Individual projects are To Specification, Exceeds Speciation's, Does not meet specifications (redo). You don't fail, you get to redo the assessment as long as its finished by the end of the Tri.
There are three mode of listening casual, semantic and reduced. An example of casual listening is tapping on a container to hear how full it is. An example of semantic listening is more's code, its sounds that had a meaning or have information. An example of reduced listening is listening to music for the beat or the instruments.
The link below contains work we did as a class in responses to Chion and Byrne Texts. We had to find definitions to words or sentences we didn't understand and describe the language in which its written. For instance one was written very scholarly and one was not.

Project 1:
To pass I need at least one more book source/ scholarly source.
Project 2:
Subject: David Bowie
Project Guide: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UKe0NOqBVrJZrXsuyX115sKtaThIqd5s/view
We have to do a deep dive into an artist we don't know much about from our Genealogy Tree, they must not be a contemporary artist. example: what made Elvis so big and influential. it's not biographical its about the music. This is a presentation done in front of the class.

Reflection
What have I learned this week? This could be related to soft skills or hard skills.
We learnt how to describe different types of text ie scholarly and personal. We learnt about project 2 and its requirements.
What did that involve? Go into more details.
We read two books by different writers one on audio related technology and one on audio in film. One was written like a manual and one was written like a story. In project 2 we are to create a script and presentation for the class discussing someone who influenced my influence that i don't know much about.
What feedback have I received this week? How am I going to address it?
I was told to pass I need at least one more book source/ scholarly source as my references are lacking. And my subject for project 2 is alright to proceed with.
What challenges did I encounter? How did I/how am I going to address them?
I don't like reading, so having to read large sections of two books was not very enjoyable for me.
What am I unsure about? Have a question or something you don't understand? This is something you can ask your facilitator.
Finding authoritative sources is still a challenge for me as I prefer not to read where possible and most sources are in books or articles.
